- The Quake is a music and video collaboration between Oscar-winning composer Ennio Morricone and filmmaker Matteo Barzini. Through footage from public television archives and other sources the film narrates the tragedies of the Syrian war creating an analogy between the destruction of human life and cultural heritage. Images of pre-war Syria alternate to destruction of minarets, mosques, temples and human life in a modern day war opera through the syncopated notes of Morricone's themes.
- Medè opens a window into the complex world of juvenile delinquency in Naples. It follows a group of minors, detained in various juvenile correctional facilities around the Camorra infested Naples area, who are offered a chance to learn how to sail and prepare for a historical Regatta. The film chronicles the life, struggles, hopes and denied ambitions of six kids grown up in the shadows of the Camorra.
- During, and immediately after the war in Iraq, a troupe traveled six thousand miles from Chicago to Los Angeles, via Dallas and Las Vegas, (with a final brief visit to New York), gathering interviews on the road about the war. The responses, often shocking, sometimes violent, appalled, heartfelt, but never banal, show the radical pro and anti- war polarization of a country, and give us an updated and unusual image of what America has become since September 11th.
- The author travels back from Italy to America where he moved to at the age of 12 and lived until he was 18. These crucial years of his life spent in Los Angeles have forever shaped his persona and created a strong identity crisis within him. He decides to deal with his past by embarking in a journey across the United States during the 40 days prior to America's most crucial and heartfelt elections: Obama vs McCain. Change is an inside look at the political rallies, the concerts, the events, the controversies, the hopes and fears of a struggling country through the lens of a man looking to find himself and the country that raised him.
