- Depicts one of the most discussed crime cases of recent years: the murder of Meredith Kercher in Perugia in November 2007, which involved Raffaele Sollecito and Amanda Knox. Convicted in the first instance, then acquitted and sentenced again, the two young people were definitively acquitted by the Supreme Court in 2015 for not having committed the crime.
- Country roads at night. Marta is driving home when a tree falls in the middle of the street and it forces her to stop. She gets out of the car and she tries to move the tree. But suddenly, another car appears behind her and it begins to pursue her. A man came into the car while Martha moves the tree. But she does not see him. And now she runs away from the car that wants to save her, carrying Death as a passenger. A series of misunderstandings in a stunning story where nothing is as it seems.
- During World War II, while some Italian Americans were deemed "enemy aliens," more than 500,000 Italian Americans served in the U.S. military. The documentary Fighting Paisanostakes its title from journalist Ernie Pyle's story about an Italian-born soldier who later served in the U.S. Army. The film tells the stories of Italian American soldiers, focusing on four individuals: the U.S.-born Frank Monteleone and Fred Baldino, and Italians Gene Giannobile and Al Soria, who immigrated in 1938 and 1940, respectively. Archival footage accompanies their recollections of being part of the U.S. forces that helped liberate Italy from Fascism and Nazi occupation.
