- Bronka, Franka, Amelka and Kwiryna are four girls living in the same poor district of Warsaw and going to the same school. They all fight for a better future but what the future brings is usually disappointment, sometimes even tragedy.
- Staying at a fancy resort, Wladyslawa Majewska is mistaken as a male guest when she is dressed in a skiing outfit. The manager offers her, thinking she is a he, a job as a dancer to entertain the unescorted ladies who frequent the hotel. Wladyslawa goes along with the offer, and keeps the old ladies dancing but falls in love with the best-looking male guest in the process, who thinks she is a man.
- Fredek, a young inventor engineer, invents a "phone-televisor" (it's 1936). In addition to the troubles he causes himself with his invention, he wreaks havoc on the quiet, conservative life of the capital city. He finds his fiancée in an ambiguous situation, then the wife of the factory owner, to whom he wants to sell the invention, discovers her husband's betrayal. When installed in the restaurant, the invention exposes a web of lies and bad deeds. As a result, adventures, funny intrigues and conflicts give way to the idea of progress and youth's endless possibilities.
- Zenon Ziembiewicz comes back to his hometown after graduating from the university in Paris. He gets entangled in a love triangle with educated young lady Elzbieta and a common country girl Justyna who gets pregnant.
- Underage Ania is looked after by her uncle Kosciesza. Ania and Lorca dream of going to Warsaw, but her uncle does not agree. In return, he gives her precious pearls and allows her to go on a trip to the forest, accompanied by a forester. This is where Ania meets Andrzej. They fall in love at first sight. The forester explains to the prince that he will not give Kosciesz to anyone, because he would also have to give away the property he manages. Lorek also loves Andrzej, but the prince only wants Ania. He wants to marry her. Kosciesza piles up more and more obstacles and in the end it turns out that he loves Ania with an insane love. In dramatic circumstances, Ania runs away to Andrzej, who has just decided to kidnap her. Kosciesza unexpectedly agrees to their engagement. At dawn, a hunt takes place, during which the prince is however secretly shot dead by Koscieszy's servant. The uncle is now brutally harassing a lonely and broken girl. Ania wants to jump out of the window and then the police show up to arrest Kosciesza for her part in the murder.
- A middle-aged woman takes a young lover, and leaves her husband and family to live with him. Her lover tires of her, and tosses her out and she wanders around pawning her jewelry in order to live. She makes a last visit to her family, planning suicide after she sees them.

- Wladzio is a pharmacist's apprentice and a young man with a romantic disposition and a warm heart. He is madly in love with the cashier, who is the handsome Loda, the daughter of the owner of horse-drawn carriages... But the crisis is not conducive to their love. Everyone is doing badly... Wladzio dreams of what it would be like if times changed and suddenly, by some magical twist of fate, there was movement and people would have money again. Loda dreams of a stage career. Wladyslaw makes it easier for her: Loda gives a stage show and soon becomes a famous artist.
- Adaptation of the Tadeusz Doega Mostowicz. With focus mainly on the fast-paced action, "Three Hearts" still stand out against the other contemporary productions in the '30's. The movie begins when two boy are born and are switched at birth and raised in different conditions. They will face their parents after years.

- Two funny toy factory workers from Lwów get fired. They find a baby in the park and take care of it until it is by coincidence taken to Warsaw by a wealthy man's daughter. The two mates are not going to abandon their child.
- Jan Winkler asks the famous professor Brunicki for a loan of one thousand zlotys. The professor hands him a check, demanding in return he bring the young girls he needs for his scientific research. Winkler becomes the owner of a nightclub and fulfills his promise... He meets a prosecutor, Alicja Horn, and falls in love with her. After some time, however, Winkler begins to become interested in her pupil, Julka. He is arrested on suspicion of murder. However, he does not want to burden the professor and remains silent, so Alicja demands the death penalty for him. From Julka's letter she learns that Winkler has been cheating on her. At the last minute, Brunicki appears in the courtroom and gives testimony, which results in Winkler's acquittal. But Alice's life and feelings are devastated.
- A young man joins the revolutionary movement in 1905, aimed at Tsarist occupiers of Poland. The members of the secret organization conspire to take the life of a noted Russian general.
- Three friends - Adam, Zygmunt and Jerzy - serve in the seaplane squadron of the Polish Navy in Gdynia. Years ago, Adam Halny fell in love with a young girl, not knowing that she was the fiancée of his friend from officer school, Zygmunt Zatorski. Loyalty then forced him to leave... Years later, they meet again. Ewa is already Zygmunt's wife, but Adam cannot forget her... While flying over the sea during a strong storm, the plane crashes and Adam and Zygmunt are in mortal danger. This dramatic situation not only allows them to survive, but also strengthens their friendship and removes all misunderstandings between them once and for all.
- An emigrant in Paris recalls the idyllic past in his homeland - full of hope, love, happiness, colourful characters and magnificent landscapes.
- Barbara Radziwillówna, the daughter of the noble house of Radziwill, accidentally meets the future Polish king Zygmunt August under embarrassing circumstances. She introduces herself as a member of a forester's family, whereas the heir to the Polish throne describes himself as a squire serving the king. Their passionate love affair leads to a secret marriage which is revealed shortly before Zygmunt's coronation. However, the queen mother is furious at this turn of events as she has always planned a truly royal spouse for her son. Members of the parliament refuse to sanction the marriage, but the king's plea for recognition of his bride eventually breaks down all opposition. But the queen mother reverts to Borgia-like tactics to get rid of the unwanted daughter-in-law and the tragedy pursues.
- An example of an original Polish pre-war melodrama set in the Hutsul region. In the 1930s, the eastern regions of the multinational Republic of Poland, and in particular the areas located among the picturesque Eastern Carpathians at that time, became the object of interest not only to ethnographers and tourists, but also to artists. Documentaries were made about this region and books were written. In the end, a melodrama was shot, part of which became the customs of the Hutsul village.
- Two rival sports equipment companies and their heirs, Jadzia and Jan, whose meeting will become a source of funny misunderstandings.
- A film touching on the current problem of young Polish women forced into prostitution abroad. The plot revolves around the fate of Marysia Zurkówna, who, following the tempting whispers of "well-wishers" and believing in a better life in the other hemisphere, decides to leave the country. However, when he lands on the "promised land", it turns out that reality is painfully different from his dreams. The girl will have a "career" as a prostitute. Lost and helpless, she tries to defend herself. However, she cannot achieve much on her own. Only Polish sailors will help her, freeing her from the brothel "for a moment" before her debut in a new "profession".
- A renowned surgeon, abandoned by his wife and daughter, gets robbed and loses his memory. Wandering around the countryside, he becomes a village healer and performs operations.
