- John Defranco, a rookie deputy of a small-town sheriff's unit joins the force when a string of missing women erupts from neighboring counties. While patrolling the highways, he catches up with two beautiful city girls. Sherry and Tina feel safety in inviting John and his two colleagues, Sheriff Buck and fellow Deputy Willis to join them at the local camp grounds. Defranco finds evidence linking Willis and Buck to the string of missing women. Defranco discovers the courage to stand up to his partner, protect the fleeing women and rid society of this serial menace.

Roman announces he now succeeds, as Abe already had obtained the police commissioner's permission; after a round of empty promising to find and see executed the killer, everybody is released, no formal suspect. Female tears and lamentations keep flowing abundantly, leading to excesses such as physically attacking Sami for a mere verbal threat like she gives say Lucas twice in a sentence, demanding Jack ceases his investigation -if endangering him, that surely has happened already- or Belle telling Shawn there's no more love or future, just living in the present, he stops her stripping them for instant sex. Mimi is startled to see her ma in the loft, who insists they must elaborate a plan to assure a Rex alliance; he stays gracious tilt the cheap bag leaves, then vents his anger at ceaseless empty accusations and insists on sex now, alas Mimi can't find any condoms- ma took the box! By the time most suspects have reassembled independently at Tuscany, where Brady totally looses patience with Victor and Nicole's silence, the bragging detectives have lost enough time for someone to burn the last documents in Abe's home desk, leaving only a matchbook...
- Elvis fails to lure Sami away from the meat locker truck, so he ends up saving Lucas from it himself. Searching Lauren's home with Billie, who steals DNA, convinces Philip her baby boy Tyler must be his son, whom she was supposed to abort after the embryo switch, ignoring Lauren lurks around and overhears them. Meanwhile during her visit to Shawn in Salem, a baby in found on the hospital's doorstep and Kayla volunteers to mind it during the search for the mother. Shawn and Belle have truth time and team up to prevent Philip intruding their family.
