I'm new to Mike Pecci's work, but I'm a huge fan now! I really enjoyed this short film. I love every style of horror and 12KM really delivered! It had me from the opening scenes. The story was creepy and thought provoking; it left just enough room for me to speculate about the deeper meaning (about to listen to some previous podcasts where they discuss it in-depth). The visual effects were mostly simple, organic, and gory enough (meaning not crazy CGI, not that they were easily done) giving more gravitas to those moments. I enjoyed the score and sound effects, too; they worked well to build the suspense and amplify the anxiety. It's a 10/10 for me. Can't wait to see the next project!
