Ben goes on a fishing trip with a judge. But gets seasick and steps off the boat for a while. The boat then explodes leading Ben to believe he was the target. Ben and the gang try to figure out from his past cases who is behind it. This is a clip show.
You know, even though it was a clip show, I still found the storyline pretty ok. We find out what happened to some people who Ben determined were the true killers in past cases. At least 3 are out of jail. Including Jeffrey Spiedell. The serial killer that had targeted Ben and tried to kill him. That was a great episode. Apparently, the evidence in his trial got thrown out in the appeals court. Go figure. Anyway, you can easily guess he is the culprit and is up to his old tricks trying to frame somebody for the Judge's death and targeting Ben again. The icing on the cake is Ben nails him again. Lol. It was so satisfying the first time around, and I enjoyed it again.
When you're streaming and binge-watching, these clip show episodes seem to come up fast. But really, back in the day, these episodes aired once a week, and sometimes there were reruns in some weeks. So the way they were aired, well, there was a lot of time separation. Anyway, I thought the episode was pretty ok for a clip show. 7/10.
