This astonishing Quebec film bewitched me in a few minutes. In 1995 during a stay in the countryside with his parents, a tormented 17-year-old man met a 73-year-old lady. The bond between the two is more than wonderful. Wisdom meets inexperience, they like to see each other every day. The parents of the young man take a dim view of all this.
There are gems of contrast in the conversations between the two main protagonists. You can see it as a way of thinking and living in a world where it is difficult to find your place when you are 17 years old.
Low budget movie but definitely worth watching. CARPE DIEM.
