PRINCESS MADAM is a fun little girls-with-guns actioner let down by the choice of director: the infamous Godfrey Ho. Now, thankfully this isn't one of his cut-and-paste enterprises, but it's still mired in low budget nonsense and let down by very choppy editing that makes the action scenes hard work at times. A shame, because Moon Lee shows off some very great moves during the running time and there are some great action scenes scatted throughout. The plot begins with a campaign against Yueh Hua's shouty bad guy and becomes more complex around the halfway mark, but other than the action it has little going for it.
