A spoiler wouldn't make much difference, because I think just about everyone I ever asked has seen this film. I have never had anyone tell me they didn't love it. This is one that can be enjoyed over and over again. It's a great one for the kids as it only has a little mild profanity. Bridgette Anderson is adorable and is perfect for this part. It's hilarious at times and very touching at others. The soundtrack is also outstanding. Several of Ken Sutherland's songs should have been big hits. The Character development is good as Alvie and Boots change as they come to love Savannah and she blossoms as she gets the attention she was denied as the "poor little rich girl".
