During the State of the Union address, as President Clinton drones on about building a bridge to the 20th century ("not made of straw, not made of hay, but made of bipartisan brick"), Al Gore's mind begins to wander. In his mind's eye he's no longer seated behind the President next to a grinning Dennis Hastert; rather, the Vice President, wearing only lei and loincloth, is dancing among the trees.
