Poll: Face-Off: 'Bowling for Columbine' vs. 'Fahrenheit 911' vs. 'Super Size Me'
As of June 2024, only three documentaries have received more than 100,000 rating votes on IMDb. Two were directed by filmmaking veteran Michael Moore and one was directed by then-newcomer Morgan Spurlock, who died recently at age 53. These three movies also received wide releases in theaters and did well at the Box Office, both of which are fairly uncommon for documentaries.
