Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by about 90 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. Since 1962 Golden Globes have been giving awards to Television Series in two categories: Drama and Comedy/Musical.
