The Lunar eclipse on July 27, 2018 will be the longest total lunar eclipse of the 21st century. Also, Planet Mars will be the closest it has to Earth in 15 years on the same night.
Christian conspiracy theorists and doomsday preachers said that the moon will take on a deep red hue during a total lunar eclipse, an event supposedly foretold by the Bible and claims about the coincidence as the start of an apocalyptic era.
