"Castle Rock" Season 2 to Pay Homage to ‘Misery’ with Lizzy Caplan as Annie Wilkes

Season 1 of Hulu's Castle Rock was a treasure trove of homages, Easter eggs, and story crossovers for fans of horror icon Stephen King. Season 2 looks to continue that trend by taking on Misery, King's 1987 psychological horror novel that centered on nurse Annie Wilkes and her deadly obsession with romance novelist, Paul Sheldon. Kathy Bates earned an Oscar for her performance as Wilkes in Rob Reiner's 1990 feature adaptation of the story, but now Emmy-nominee Lizzy Caplan gets a shot at the role. General Hospital Spoilers: Griffin is Not Coping Well

General Hospital fans aren’t shocked by Laura’s anger. She is so hurt and upset by all that happened. So much of what happened in her life and the lives of the people she loved could have been avoided if her own husband had merely been honest and truthful with her. They could have had some sort of pact between them in which they were honest about the fact that Ryan was alive and well, and they could have put an end to this. Now there are people who lost their lives, her own life was basically ruined for months as

Parks and Recreation Boss on Potential Revival: 'We'd Only Do It If... '
Parks and Recreation co-creator Mike Schur isn’t ruling out a return to Pawnee — but he would have some conditions before signing off on a potential revival.

“I think that in the world that we live in now, nothing is ever gone,” Schur said at a PaleyFest panel for the show’s 10th anniversary on Thursday evening. Sitting alongside the entire cast, Schur added, “Everyone on this stage — and like six other people — would have to feel like there was a story that needed to be told.

“There was nothing I loved more than working on the show. I would never ever say never,

Writer-Director Dominik Moll on Series Mania Competition Contender ‘Eden’

Lille, France — “I must down to the seas again,” Amaré, an teen African illegal immigrant, reads aloud in a poetry lesson at a refugee center near the beach in Greece.

Thoughts of wander-lust seen comically out of place. Amaré has just been seen in the prolog to “Eden” leaping out of a dinghy beaching on a Greek beach, to the dumfounded puzzlement of its tourists.

He and the other immigrants in “Eden” are never, moreover, in a position to escape constraints: The wait for residence permits, menial jobs even for the highly-qualified; the pressure to make the academic grade in a new country; above all,

John Simm Talks ‘Cold Courage’ as Lionsgate Boards International Drama (Exclusive)
John Simm plays a rabble-rousing populist politician in “Cold Courage,” and Lionsgate has stepped up and taken international rights to the series.

Based on the series of novels by Pekka Hiltunen, the drama is billed as the biggest yet out of Finland and will bow on the Viaplay streaming service in Scandinavia. With a cast from all over Europe and a shoot spanning Belgium, Finland, Ireland, and the U.K., “Cold Courage” is international in scope and ambition.

That was part of the appeal for Simm, a familiar face on British TV, playing The Master in “Doctor Who” and starring

You are probably awaiting the upcoming release of Doomsday Clock with eager anticipation. Each issue just seems to be more profound and graphically appealing than the one before. In this case, it appears that none other than Donald Trump might just be the new President of the DC Comics Universe. Won’t that be an interesting twist? The Back Story You might know Donald Trump as a

Legacies Recap: Landon's Dark History Is Even Muddier Than We Imagined

Before Thursday’s Legacies, I would have argued that Hope had the franchise’s most twisted family history, but the more we learn about Landon’s lineage, the more the Mikaelsons start to look like the Bradys.

As revealed by Agent Clark this week, Landon’s father was once a golem known as the “Eater of the Dark.” He was created 1,000 years ago by the “unholy alliance” of a witch, a vampire and a werewolf in order to combat their shared enemy: a dragon. Unfortunately, Papa Landon proved too effective, consuming every monster he could find. He also attempted to create offspring of his own,

Drag Race Recap: Which Orange Queen Lacked a Certain Appeal?
Fresh off last week’s embarrassing six-way lip sync battle, the ladies of RuPaul’s Drag Race decided on Thursday that they were really going to start trying from now on. No more tucking around!

Unfortunately, not everyone was able to keep that promise, as seen in this week’s disastrous mini challenge Why You Maddow Tho? The assignment was simple: dress up like MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow (cheap jacket and all!) and read a series of breaking news reports from a teleprompter. Yet “simple” proved too much for some queens, like poor Silky Nutmeg Ganache, who struggled with the

What Jared Padelecki Thinks the Ending of Supernatural Will Look Like

As they say, all good things in life eventually come to an end. The same is true of television shows. They have a great run, some for decades, but the end will come one day. Fans of Supernatural must feel a bit of a disconnect knowing that the show must eventually come to a conclusion. Like a good book, you don’t necessarily want it to end, but you certainly would like to know what happens when the final chapter is written. That is part of the fun. What does an ending to Supernatural look like. Of course, we have no

Grey’s Anatomy’s Teddy thought that she wouldn’t be experiencing firsts with her and Owen’s daughter until after she was born. But in Thursday’s “Add It Up,” the peanut scared her mom half out of her mind for the first time — by making it appear that she might arrive prematurely.
