‘The Conners’ Renewed For Season 2 By ABC
It’s official — ABC has ordered a second season of Roseanne spinoff The Conners. The renewal comes after series’ producer Werner Entertainment secured new deals with the core cast of Roseanne veterans, John Goodman, who plays Dan Conner, Laurie Metcalf (Jackie Harris), Sara Gilbert (Darlene Conner) and Lecy Goranson (Becky Conner-Healy). The size of the order has not been revealed by ABC but has been speculated to be 13 episodes, slightly bigger than last season’s 11.

While not the mega hit of the size of the Roseanne revival, The Conners has been a breakout for ABC. In its first season, the Roseanne followup averaged 9.5 million total viewers and a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating (Live+7) to rank as the season’s No. 1 new comedy in total viewers and 18-49 and ABC’s No. 1 comedy in both categories. The Conners improved its Tuesday 8 pm time period by 33% in total viewers and by 22% in adults

Where Has Conner Kent Been All This Time?

There have been a number of DC Comics characters to use the name Superboy. For example, the first Superboy was Clark Kent when he was still a child, who had a number of series from the 1940s to the 1980s until his existence was retconned in 1986. Likewise, recent times saw the introduction of a new Superboy in the form of Jonathan Samuel Kent, who is the son of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. On top of this, it is important to note that there have been a number of Superboys from timelines other than that of the main DC

‘The Oa’ Season 2 Ending Is So Crazy It Could Kill the Series

‘The Oa’ Season 2 Ending Is So Crazy It Could Kill the Series
[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from “The Oa” Season 2, including the batshit finale.]

To say nothing will prepare you for the end of “The Oa” could be seen as an embellishment, considering the entirety of Season 2 — a meticulously drawn-out, increasingly bananas story from creators Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij — is designed to do just that. The madness only escalates as Marling’s “original angel” (aka Oa) learns more and more about inter-dimensional travel in order to save her fellow jumpers from Dr. Hap (Jason Isaacs). Yet even when you think the final bit of insanity has played out, a whole other layer of crazy is spread over the series, and the ending of “The Oa” goes totally off the rails.

On the one hand, that’s exactly what fans should want. The Netflix original series puts its emphasis on “original” at every turn; so much so, it’s harder and harder to complain whenever the bold

TV Review: ‘Abby’s’ Starring Natalie Morales

“Abby’s,” NBC’s new comedy about a cranky bartender (Natalie Morales) and her inner circle of regulars, is aware of the inevitable “Cheers” comparisons.

Created by “New Girl” writer Josh Malmuth and executive produced by uber-producer (and unabashed “Cheers” superfan) Mike Schur, “Abby’s” therefore makes a few key choices in order to differentiate itself as its own entity. The most immediately obvious difference is that “Abby’s” is the first multi-cam sitcom to be filmed outdoors. Taking advantage of Los Angeles’ generally static weather (recent rain deluge aside), the backyard setting creates a more casual, warm vibe.

There’s Going to be a Die Hard Board Game, Period

Yeah, you read that right, a board game is coming out that you can play based on the popular movie, will wonders never cease. That might sound like sarcasm but quite honestly it’s more reverence than anything since while a video game would likely give a person a much more immersive experience into the whole experience, a board game does seem like it would make you think a great deal more and adapt
