Zendaya claims she, too, is unaware of when “Euphoria” Season 3 will begin production.

Netflix’s “Baby Reindeer” is a new miniseries with a twist.
“Baby Reindeer,” released April 11, is based on Scottish comedian, actor and writer Richard Gadd’s own experience with a stalker and sexual predator in his 20s. Gadd stars as Donny Dunn, who is stalked by a woman named Martha he met in a bar he worked at.
The official Netflix synopsis reads, “When a struggling comedian shows one act of kindness to a vulnerable woman, it sparks a suffocating obsession which threatens to wreck both their lives.”

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for FBI Season 6 Episode 9 “Best Laid Plans.”] There’s nothing like a dangerous undercover case to convince an agent that a couple flying to a friend’s wedding together isn’t too much of a risk. Such is the case for Scola (John Boyd) on FBI. When the episode begins, Scola thinks he and Nina should travel separately to a friend’s wedding rather than risk the lives of both of Dougie’s parents on the same flight. But as she points out, they both put their lives at risk at work—and then they end up doing just that on the same case, when one of her informants is connected to FBI‘s investigation. As a result, Scola and Nina go undercover together. After that, Scola decides he’s okay with them flying together to the wedding. And without that, he wouldn’t have reached ...

Her fourth consecutive victory was nearly thwarted by her competitor, but a snafu in Double Jeopardy, plus a stumper in the final round, led to her lucky win. Competing in the April 16, 2024 match were Eric Reimund, a substitute teacher from Collegeville, Pennsylvania; Veronica Tabor, a study abroad advisor from Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Betts, a writer and creative executive from San Jose, California. Betts began the game with $97,500 in winnings so far, and she walked away having increased that total to $107,700. With a score of $5,200 and her opponents far behind, Betts led the first round. But Reimund caught up in to her in the second and found both of the Daily Doubles, but he made the biggest mistake you can make in Jeopardy that made him lose the second of these clues: he forgot to answer in the form ...

Jimmy Kimmel may have lost a vice president, but he’s gaining a Southern rocker.
While Kamala Harris had to take a raincheck on her planned Tuesday appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, it turns out hers wasn’t the only special visit the host had planned this week. As Variety reports, Kimmel is resurrecting his outdoor concert stage on Wednesday with Chris Stapleton as his first performer.
Kimmel’s al fresco stage, which is located in the parking lot behind his Hollywood studio, has the capacity to hold more than 1,000 concert-goers and has featured an all-star lineup of artists in the past. Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, Elton John, Prince, No Doubt, Usher, and Snoop Dogg are just a few of the performers who have entertained Kimmel’s crowd over the years. But this week’s performance will mark the first in more than four years.

“Crimson Sky,” the penultimate episode of “Shogun,” delivers on its promise of blood and then some. Last night’s Jon Stewart-led Daily Show delivered mixed results in the Nielsen ratings department. The April 15 episode delivered week-to-week gains in total viewers, but lost viewers in the key 18-49 demo.
Per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data, The Daily Show averaged 742,000 total viewers this past Monday at 11 p.m. Et. That represents an +11% improvement from the previous Monday episode, and Stewart’s largest Monday audience in three weeks. However, last night’s episode averaged just 111,000 P18-49 viewers, which is -13% from the previous Monday, and Stewart’s smallest P18-49 audience since returning to the program this past February.
The total viewer and P18-49 averages for April 15 are far from final. Stewart’s Monday, April 8 episode averaged 671,000 total live-plus-same-day linear viewers, and improved to 1,430,000 total linear viewers on Comedy Central after Nielsen live-plus-three-day data arrived. Twenty years in, Kenan Thompson is the longest serving cast member on Saturday Night Live, but he likely owes part of his success on the show to his early work on another sketch comedy series, Nickelodeon’s All That, which premiered thirty years ago today on April 16th 1994.
Created as a Saturday Night Live for kids by Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins, All That consisted of comedy sketches performed by a cast of kids, alongside performances from some of the biggest musical acts of the day.
As it happened. Thompson—then fresh off his screen debut in D2: The Mighty Ducks—was the very first person All That viewers saw onscreen in a cold open:
Much like his SNL career, Thompson’s time on All That was marked by a large number of characters including Pierre Escargot, Superdude, and a Bill Cosby impression that he’d later bring to SNL.

“The Sopranos” fans got thrown a curveball in 2021 when Edie Falco revealed for the first time on an Atlantic podcast that she once reunited with James Gandolfini to reprise Tony and Carmela Soprano for a bizarre clip set two years after the events of the series finale, which infamously ended with a cut-to-black that left Tony’s fate in the balance. The purpose of the clip was to help the New York Knicks basketball organization lure LeBron James to the team.
Gandolfini and Falco shot the “Sopranos” reunion in 2010 as James was becoming a free agent after his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers expired.

Cynthia Nixon is letting a “Sex and the City” production detail slip more than two decades later.
The actress, who reprised her role of Miranda for revival series “And Just Like That…,” said on Sony Music Entertainment’s Dinner’s On Me Podcast, hosted by Jesse Tyler Ferguson, that one scene had surprising ties to Alfred Hitchcock.
“[It’s] in that episode where Miranda’s not having sex but she’s eating a lot of chocolate cake and she tries to buy a whole cake and it’s like 80 and she’s like, ‘This is ridiculous. I’m not going to spend 80,'” Nixon said. “So she goes and buys like a Duncan Hine mix and makes herself a cake. And then she can’t stop eating it. She eats piece after piece after piece. And then finally she has to throw it in the trash and pours like, detergent on it.

Disney+ plans to launch new linear-tv-like channels with Star Wars or Marvel shows, according to a report from The Information. But don’t call them Fast channels, because considering the Disney+ subscription price, they wouldn’t be free.

Oh, God. The enfant terrible of animated comedies is delivering unto us a Season 22 finale of biblical proportions. Because after Family Guy’s near-quarter of a century on the air, nothing is sacred! “I never thought I’d hear myself say this as a writer,” confesses Richard Appel, a showrunner alongside Alec Sulkin, “but the Standards and Practices department at Fox is easy to work with and pretty good with us.” Due in part to the sheer success of the cartoon, as well as its consistent ability to push the envelope without inspiring boycotts (anymore), Guy has gotten away with decades of gags other shows wouldn’t dare to attempt—like tonight’s trip back to the days of Jesus. Director Mark Levin, producer Daphne Pinkerson, and executive producer Katie Couric deliver a compelling journalistic study that connects the dots between right-wing domestic terror attacks over the past 40 years. The result is tragically relevant, as the hatred behind the Oklahoma City bombing also fueled the Pittsburgh Tree of Life shooting in 2018 and the January 6, 2021 Capitol attack. Footage of a young Merrick Garland discussing the case reinforces the point, making the madness feel wearily cyclical. He prosecuted Timothy McVeigh and later oversaw the prosecution of January 6 insurrectionists as attorney general.

When The Jonas Brothers open their show in Brisbane by walking out to your animated kid show’s theme tune, then that theme song and that show have done way more than entertain some 6-year-olds. The show in question, “Bluey,” has been a phenomenon for a while — it’s approved by the kids of “Abbott Elementary” as well as millions worldwide — and the music by composer Joff Bush and a coterie of talented collaborators has fueled two albums and untold instances of “Dance Mode.”
Music has always anchored the wordless sequences where “Bluey” reaches its most poignant heights — whether gently cribbing from Gustav Holst as younger sister Bingo swims past the planets in her dream in “Sleepy Time” or ever-so-slightly tweaking a recurring theme as Rusty walks off the cricket pitch in “Cricket” and high fives his future self as that Rusty steps up to a much bigger stage. But the latest,...

Margaret Qualley is no longer going to star in Hulu’s limited series about Amanda Knox, Variety has confirmed.
The untitled series was announced in March with Qualley set to star and executive produce. She has reportedly exited the project due to scheduling conflicts. The role will now be recast.
This is not the first time Hulu has lost its lead actress in a limited series based on a real person. Kate McKinnon was once attached to play Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes in what would become “The Dropout,” the role that was eventually played by Amanda Seyfried. Seyfried would go...

Time away from the Ton was very good to Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton). The middle Bridgerton sibling steps into the spotlight in the highly-anticipated third season of the Netflix series. Upon his return, the debonair Colin has all the young ladies swooning with his updated wardrobe and perfectly coifed (and very voluminous) hair. Costume designer John Glaser and hair and makeup designer Erika Ökvist dish the details on Colin’s makeover in Bridgerton Season 3. “Well, first of all, John switched him up, and he also comes with incredible bone structure,” Ökvist tells TV Insider of Newton’s new look. “I mean, those cheekbones, that really square jawline, and his eyebrows are almost like seagull wings. If you look up any kind of cartoon hero picture, it’s pretty much him. In Seasons 1 and 2 we used soft and round shapes on him so he feels younger.” Glaser brings up how Colin...

A group of actors filed a class action lawsuit Tuesday against Casting Networks, one of a handful of websites that connects actors to commercial auditions, alleging that the platform functions as an illegal pay-for-play system.
Casting Networks offers actors a free tier and two premium tiers. The paid options allow actors to upload more video to their profile and to submit for unlimited roles.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleges that the site violates a 2009 California law that makes it illegal to charge for auditions.

This Is Us hasn’t even been off the air for two years, but that doesn’t mean that fans wouldn’t love to see the Pearson family—extended, too—back on their screens in some form or another. At least for now, though, it really does sound like the only type of reunion to come is the This Was Us rewatch podcast. “I don’t think [a revival or spinoff] will happen for This Is Us,” Jon Huertas, who played Miguel and directed two episodes, tells TV Insider. “This story was super personal to Dan Fogelman and he told the story the way he wanted to tell it and ended it the way he wanted to end it. And I think it might do a disservice to the show if someone other than Dan especially tried to put something together. But I think that the story has been told, and I can’t...

Despite the success of “Daisy Jones & the Six,” star Riley Keough says the band isn’t getting back together anytime soon.
Despite fans hoping — and demanding — a second season of the Prime Video miniseries adaptation of Tara Jenkin Reid’s best-selling novel, Keough tells me, “I would love to but I don’t know if it’s in the cards…I haven’t heard anything.”
The series followed Daisy Jones (Keough) and her bandmates as they make their way through the Los Angeles music scene of the 1970s. The series premiered just over a year ago to positive reviews.

We’ve seen Jimmy Fallon jam like this before, but never with so many collaborators.
Pulling from his recurring bit of performing songs with classroom instruments, Fallon and Keke Palmer led a theater full of Television Academy members in a group rendition of the song “Wild Thing.”
Fallon managed to sing, play kazoo, and provide percussion while conducting the audience, who were given kazoos, cowbells, and maracas to play along. Palmer took on kazoo duties as well.
Fallon shared a video of the performance on Twitter/X:

The longtime ballroom dancer is settling the score herself. Cheryl Burke has revealed that she had a total of three romances over the course of her 26 seasons on the ABC competition series Dancing With the Stars. Some of her past dance partners on the show included Drew Lachey, Rob Kardashian, William Levy, Drew Carey, and Ryan Lochte. But Burke is keeping secret exactly who she romance ed, at least for now. The dancer unveiled the lore regarding her love life on the show on Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes‘ podcast, “Amy & T.J.” As Burke explained, ballroom dancing is an intimate sport that requires time and vulnerability from both partners for several weeks seven days a week. Especially given the fact that contestants are learning a new skill, it’s a natural – or unnatural – environment for romance to emerge. “It happens,” said Burke. “It is [love] in that moment, and then you’re like,...
