Shadowhunters is the best show of 2018, at least according to The People's Choice Awards
One could argue that the last few years haven’t been great for people choosing things, give or take a recent flip in a certain house full of representatives, but the one thing we can always count on when it comes to people choosing things is The People’s Choice Awards. For years, it’s been one of the few award shows…

‘Deadpool’ Creator Rob Liefeld: Why We Loved Stan Lee (Guest Column)

‘Deadpool’ Creator Rob Liefeld: Why We Loved Stan Lee (Guest Column)
Stan Lee. Where do you even start? Seriously.

Growing up as a kid in the 1970s, Stan Lee’s name was in every Marvel comic book I pulled off the Spinner Rack. “Stan Lee Presents…” was at the forefront of every dynamic splash page that opened any Marvel publication. He was a larger-than-life presence, his image drawn into the actual comics, and at times, as a caricature illustrated atop the masthead of his popular “Stan’s Soapbox,” where he wrote about a wide variety of topics outside of comics. Regularly featured in the back pages, Stan’s Soapbox exposed us

Dancing With the Stars Recap: Which Couples Are Headed to the Finale?
Time flies when you’re having fun — and when you’re watching pseudo-celebrities foxtrot for a shiny trophy.

Case in point: Though it seems like Dancing With the Stars just kicked off its 27th season, we’re actually just days away from learning which couple will hoist that coveted Mirrorball trophy.

Monday’s broadcast eliminated two of the remaining six couples, with only four moving on to next week’s finale. And with a roster ranging from Grocery Store Joe (who only just started scoring eights) to Juan Pablo Di Pace (who has earned multiple perfect 30s this season), it

The Voice Recap: Which of the Top 24 Really Brought the Live Playoffs to Life?
S— just got real on The Voice. In Monday’s jam-packed episode, all 24 members of Teams Blake Shelton, Jennifer Hudson, Kelly Clarkson and Adam Levine sang for a spot in the Top 12 — or, rather, the Top 13 since a contestant from The Comeback Stage (probably Lynnea Moorer) would also be winning a place in the lineup on Tuesday.

Prior to watching the performances, I imagined that the vocalists who’d advance would be (in alphabetical order): Dave Fenley, Natasia GreyCloud, Patrique Fortson, Sarah Grace, Kennedy Holmes, Kirk Jay, Kymberli Joye, Chris Kroeze, Michael Lee, Radha, SandyRedd and Reagan Strange. But then,

Have you ever seen Iron Fist, a show handled by Netflix and based on the Marvel Comics? The show centers around the character of Danny Rand, an expert in the martial arts who also just happens to be able to call on an ability that most people never see coming, which is called the Iron Fist. Clearly, this is how the show got its name. It’s also worth noting that the show follows the Marvel movies, effectively following directly into the timeline continuing continuity of the story. The first season consisted of 13 episodes and was released in its entirety

Earmarked for “Phase 2” of Level Two, Oliver is outfitted with a cuff that subjects him to electrocution if he misbehaves. “You belong to me now,” says the bull in charge, warning that Inmate 4587 is about to head “down the rabbit hole.” That night, Oliver is awoken by an intruder in his cell: Talia al Ghul, who landed in Slabside after “running afoul of an old foe in Gotham.

The Best Uses of Kenny Rogers Songs in Movies or TV

It’s kind of funny to think that Kenny Rogers, who’s been a country star for a long time now, was once into psychedelic rock and then into pop for a while. Eventually he moved into country where he became a huge hit by singing solo or with others that were just as big if not bigger. His initial plan was to keep touring and retire as of this year, but instead his doctors advised him to cut it short and in 2017 he finally called it quits as he was dealing with a number of health concerns that kept him

Amazon’s Release Strategy for ‘Suspiria’ Is the Right Thing to Do

More than any other movie this year, I’ve been looking forward to Suspiria (2018). Yes, Black Panther (2018) was amazing. So was Avengers: Infinity War (2018). But Sorry to Bother You (2018) came out of nowhere, Hereditary (2018) too. If Beale Street Could Talk (2018) and Roma (2018) were always going to be good based purely on who made them, but only recently roused more attention from me than “Barry Jenkins’ follow-up to Moonlight (2016)” or “Alfonso Cuarón’s first movie since Gravity (2013).” Suspiria, though? Now that was a movie I could get into! It was the best of all
