Ratings: ABC’s ‘The Fix’ Slips From Already Low Series Premiere
There may be no fixing ABC’s “The Fix.” The Marcia Clark-produced drama dipped on Monday from its already-low debut ratings last week. Making matters appear worse, the show’s lead-in, “American Idol,” actually rose versus the previous Monday.

Thanks to “The Voice,” NBC fairly comfortably topped primetime last night.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/6 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 7.7 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. posted a 1.6/7 and 8.9 million viewers. At 10, “The Enemy Within” received a 0.8/4 and 5.2 million viewers.

ABC and Fox tied for second in ratings, both with a 1.0. Fox had a 5 share, ABC had a 4. ABC was second in total viewers with 5.5 million, Fox was third with 5.3 million.

For ABC, “American Idol” from 8-10 averaged a 1.2/5 and 6.4 million viewers.

WWE Wrestlemania Will have a Women Main Event for First Time Ever

It’s enough to make you want to shake your head when you think about the implications of the coming main event between “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey, Becky “The Man” Lynch, and Charlotte “The Queen” Fliar. Don’t get twisted into thinking that a main event match with three women is anything to laugh about or be amused by, since the match itself is going to be off the hook since all three women have shown that they have what it takes to bang each other around the ring like pinballs and even take it outside the squared circle in order to make

“I’m happy that the truth has finally been set free, because I knew it all along,” Taraji P. Henson told USA Today. “We’re all happy for him, and thank God the truth prevailed.”

‘Us’ Takes Charge at the Box Office

Jordan Peele’s follow-up to the phenomena that was Get Out (2017) was always going to be an event in its own right. After all, that movie was universally beloved by critics, ravenously devoured by fans and welcomed with open arms by a normally discriminating cineaste elite (coming within a hair’s breadth of winning Best Picture at that year’s Oscars before losing out to Guillermo del Toro’s The Shape of Water). I just don’t

Jane the Virgin Ep Teases Final-Season Callbacks, Wedding and... Deaths?!

Friends, there’s not much that Jane the Virgin showrunner Jennie Snyder Urman can reveal about the Michael-shaped twist in the Season 4 finale. But that doesn’t mean she’s keeping mum about other major events taking place during the fifth and final season (premiering this Wednesday at 9/8c on The CW).

In keeping with the swan song’s “full circle” theme, “there are moments that we’re actively calling back, and so that’s fun,” Urman tells TVLine. For example, Season 1’s “It’s not a milkshake, it’s a baby” moment on the porch swing is “very central

The studio’s initial move, in the wake of his arrest, was to remove Smollett and his character Jamal Lyon from the final two episodes of season 5 “to avoid further disruption on set.” However, the positive air of Fox’s statement Tuesday regarding

10 Things You Didn’t Know about Joivan Wade

In all honesty it almost feels as though Joivan Wade, despite being around since 2012 and having taken on some interesting roles, has been kind of under-utilized. Or maybe it’s more to the point that he’s just now taking on roles that are pushing him into a different arena that allows him to be seen by a wide array of people that are interested in a wide variety of different pop culture icons. That doesn’t feel quite right either, but at the same time it does kind of feel somewhat true. He’s been a convincing actor for a while and

Jussie Smollett’s Legal Drama Eclipses the Rest of His Story (Column)

Jussie Smollett’s Legal Drama Eclipses the Rest of His Story (Column)
Like so many other stories these days, the Jussie Smollett legal saga seemed governed not by coherent logic, but by chaos, and, in its absence of narrative, invites any observer to find in it the story they prefer hearing.

Smollett, the “Empire” star who had been in legal jeopardy due to allegations of staging a purported hate crime against himself before the charges against him were dropped on Tuesday, is, to the core fans who’ve stood by him throughout, an unjustly chosen target liberated at last from those who sought to cause him harm. To critics — of Smollett or
