"Pinky and the Brain" Voice Actors Hint at Reboot

What are we going to do tonight? The same thing we do every night, Pinky: Try to get rebooted. That’s one takeaway from a Vulture Festival panel in which voice actors read famous movie scenes, including Maurice Lamarche and Rob Paulsen of "Pinky and the Brain," performing the Ferris wheel scene from The Third Man in character. They’d already done so once before on the cartoon itself, leading Paulsen to say to his co-star, “If we get our show back…”

The Five Best Hailee Steinfeld Movies of Her Career

Hailee Steinfeld didn’t really come out of left field but it feels like if you only started to notice her when she was in the remake of True Grit. No matter what anyone says about the film it’s agreed that she put in a great performance and made the part of Mattie feel uniquely real. But that’s the kind of skill she displays on a regular basis as she’s able to dive into her roles as much as possible and really make a person believe that she is that character. Even better is that in each film she’s in there’s

Three Days of Our Lives Couples Who Are Meant To Be

Days of Our Lives fans are well aware that many coupes never work out and they certainly don’t make it through their lives intact. However, we do understand that there are many who do make it through, and they are just fine. Maybe some of them don’t really need to be together. Maybe they are fine, but they just fail to wow us as people. Maybe they are all that and then some, but we just occasionally like it better when some people are together. We know that it doesn’t always work out in the love department for everyone, but

This Is Us' Mandy Moore Says Ignoring Her Bond With Milo Ventimiglia to Play Early Rebecca/Jack Was a 'Challenge'
A great relationship with a co-worker is something to be desired… until it gets in the way of playing awkward, earnest new love.

This Is Us star Mandy Moore tells TVLine that she and co-star Milo Ventimiglia had to “hold back on” their off-screen ease with each other in Tuesday’s episode, which chronicled a cross-country road trip that took place when Rebecca and Jack had known each other for just a week.

“That’s something we kept in mind,” says the actress, who over the course of two-plus seasons has logged far more screentime as Jack’s longtime wife

Constance Wu Explains Why She Doesn’t Clap Back at ‘Asian Incels’

Constance Wu Explains Why She Doesn’t Clap Back at ‘Asian Incels’
Constance Wu has to deal with more than her fair share of internet trolls, and she knows which ones to ignore. At Vulture Festival Los Angeles last night, the “Crazy Rich Asians” and “Fresh Off the Boat” star was asked about her experience with “MRAsians” — Wu prefers the term “Asian incels,” short for “involuntarily celibate” — and explained that “a lot of Asian men are mad that one of my boyfriends was white.”

“They make this assumption that every single one of my boyfriends has been white based on the one boyfriend they’ve seen on my social media, who is the boyfriend that I was dating when I first started my account, all the way up until after ‘Fresh Off the Boat.’ Unless they think I was a virgin before I was 30, then…yeah,” she said.

“I don’t clap back online because I don’t feel the need to defend myself,

‘The Office’ Cast Crashes Steve Carell’s ‘SNL’ Monologue to Beg for a Reboot

‘The Office’ Cast Crashes Steve Carell’s ‘SNL’ Monologue to Beg for a Reboot
If you’ve been hoping for a reboot of “The Office,” you’re far from alone. Ellie Kemper, Ed Helms, and Jenna Fischer all crashed Steve Carell’s “Saturday Night Live” monologue last night to beg their former co-star to bring the beloved comedy back. After one planted audience member suggested the idea to the actor, whose post-“Office” work has seen him land an Oscar nod for “Foxcatcher” and return to the awards race with this year’s “Beautiful Boy,” Carrel found himself ambushed by the former Andy, Erin, and Pam. Watch below.

“People would really love to see an ‘Office’ reboot,” Kemper said to the delight of seemingly everyone in attendance. “Especially me, because I need that money! Let’s get that money, Steve!” After he politely declined, she replied, “You’re a jerk” with clear disappointment in her voice.

Next was Helms. “I just don’t think

Will Isekai wa Smartphone Season 2 Ever Happen?

Isekai wa Smartphone has proven to be a rather interesting animated series that comes directly from Japan. If you’re wondering what that translates to, the English version means In Another World with My Smartphone. As you can see from the title, it proves to be an interesting concept, to say the least. As a matter of fact, the title basically says it all. It’s about having the ability to go into a completely different world where anything and everything can happen at the drop of a hat. Think about being able to create a fantasy world on your smartphone and

This Office Reunion on SNL Is the Closest Thing We're Getting to a Reboot

For his opening monologue, Saturday Night Live host Steve Carell might've hoped to let everyone know about his new movie Beautiful Boy or his upcoming TV turn as a morning show host that's fading into irrelevance, but instead he had to talk about The Office. Of course.

One after one, audience members

Three General Hospital Couples Who Are Meant to Be

General Hospital fans know that love never lasts around here. There’s not much that anyone can really do about that, either. There’s just no room for love in their lives in some cases, and we appreciate that. But, we do think that some couples should have made it even though they did not. We do think that they had a chance to make their situation work out better, but we also hope that they don’t have much else to worry about in the meantime. For now, though, we do hope that things work in our favor. We do think that

The Five Best Dakota Fanning Movies of Her Career

Getting her career started in TV seemed to be the right course for Dakota Fanning since it kind of allowed her to work up to the idea of being in motion pictures instead of just putting her in the mix outright. She was still quite young when she did star in the role that would get her considered for a Screen Actors Guild Award, but she did such a great job that it’s no wonder why she’s been seen as one of the more alluring faces in Hollywood for some time now. There are times when it seems as though

Three Bold and the Beautiful Couples Who Are Meant to Be

The Bold and the Beautiful is a show that really does focus almost entirely on the bold and beautiful relationships that people have with one another. It’s about love and loss, and it’s about getting what you want out of life and making it yours. There is no time for people here to get their situations mixed up with that of someone else, and we fully believe there is always time for love around here. That said, there are plenty of couples we did not see coming, some we did see coming, and some that didn’t work out. But what

Steve Carell Hosts SNL: Watch Video of the Best & Worst Sketches

Steve Carell Hosts SNL: Watch Video of the Best & Worst Sketches
It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since Steve Carell last hosted Saturday Night Live. That makes it all the more disappointing that his third hosting stint was something of a let down.

A mini-Office reunion (with Jenna Fischer, Ed Helms and Ellie Kemper) was one of the few highlights in an episode that began with yet another lackluster Laura Ingraham parody, then immediately followed the monologue with one of the weakest sketches of the night. Carell, however, was game for pretty much anything, including not one, but two sketches set in outer space, and some epic

Three Young and the Restless Couples Who Are Meant to Be

Young and the Restless fans are never sad when some couples break up, but we are always sad when others do. We are wise enough to know that most people in the soaps just don’t make it with their love and their relationships, but we also know that some couples were just meant to be together. Unfortunately, they don’t all make it in that aspect. Sure, there are some great couples who make it, and they work together so well. There are others, sadly, who just don’t make it. We want to bring you our list of great couples we

The Office Reunion: Which Dunder Mifflin-ites Joined Steve Carell on SNL?
Looking for more highlights? Watch best and worst Saturday Night Live sketches here.

World’s best boss! Dunder Mifflin made a strong showing in Studio 8H this weekend when three of Steve Carell‘s The Office former on-screen underlings appeared to help him get his third Saturday Night Live hosting gig underway.

The mini-reunion took place during Carell’s monologue, when he took questions from the in-studio audience. The topic, naturally, turned to whether or not there will be a reboot of the popular NBC sitcom.

“I don’t think it’s the best idea,” Carell said, echoing a sentiment he voiced in October.
