Amy Schumer Won’t Appear in Super Bowl Ads to Support Colin Kaepernick
Following reports that Rihanna passed on the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in a show of solidarity to Colin Kaepernick, Amy Schumer said Friday that she informed her agent to turn down any commercial jobs connected to the February 2019 game.

In a lengthy Instagram post, Schumer also called on Maroon 5, who will headline the Super Bowl halftime show from Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, to withdraw from the high-profile gig.

"I think it would be cool if [Maroon 5] backed out of Super Bowl like [Rihanna] did," Schumer wrote, the second time Friday she lobbied for Adam Levine and company to ditch the gig.

TV's Worst Show Titles: Cougar Town, Kevin (Probably), Rise, Trophy Wife, Manimal, Shasta McNasty and More

TV's Worst Show Titles: Cougar Town, Kevin (Probably), Rise, Trophy Wife, Manimal, Shasta McNasty and More
Sometimes you land on the perfect TV show title (think Friends, Cheers, Revenge). Other times, you land on Cougar Town. Or worse, Shasta McNasty.

We here at TVLine have championed many a show with titles that simply don’t do them justice — titles so bad that they befuddle, irritate or potentially alienate viewers altogether. There have been good shows hurt by names both odd (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Terriers) and misrepresentative (Trophy Wife). Other shows are hurt by woefully generic monikers (Complications, Rise).

Some titles are bad enough to sink a TV show altogether, as the producers behind many of

However you felt, the thrillers of the 90s were something that made you realize that thinking in a straight line was not always the way to go and could make

Appreciating the Impressive Career of Leslie Uggams

Leslie Uggams is probably someone you won’t recognize until you come to understand that while her earlier stuff made her the star she is, the later roles she took on are probably what many people relate to at this point. She started out young in the 1950s as a singer and an actor, showing early on just what she could do and why she was bound to be someone special. Those that are old enough to remember these times might recollect that Leslie was an up and coming star during this time since she had a lot going for her

Ahs: Apocalypse: 5 Burning Questions From That Murder House Episode
American Horror Story‘s long-awaited Murder House reunion episode shed some much-needed light on a few of the franchise’s most beloved characters, but it also presented us with a whole new series of head scratchers.

1. Does Madison have a familial connection to Murder House? Viewers have long speculated — assumed,

The Five Best Julia Roberts Movies of Her Career

Julia Roberts has been hailed as one of the most beautiful and most classy women in all of Hollywood, but she does have her detractors as well. Throughout her career though she’s put up some amazing performances that have caused her to be one of the most well-remembered faces in the business and someone that doesn’t seem to have to work too hard to make things happen any longer. That might or might not be true but the reality of it is that Julia has certainly hit the pinnacle where scraping and scratching for roles isn’t really much of a

The Titans Team Answers Your Qs About Nightwing, the Big Bad, Lgbt Heroes, Donna Troy and More

Think of this as a titanic edition of Matt’s Inside Line.

Prior to hitting the red carpet for the world premiere of the DC Universe streaming service’s Titans (new episodes release every Friday), I solicited questions from you, the TVLine readership. The response was impressively super, and though the Titans cast and EPs endeavored to keep some secrets, scoopy/spoilery vittles are to be found in the Qs-and-As below:

“What mindset does Teagan Croft get into for the role of Raven?”

“It’s interesting because when you do it for nine months, you get into a rhythm,” Croft shared.

‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’: Salem the Cat Walks the Black Carpet at Netflix Series’ Premiere

When it was announced that Netflix was developing a TV adaptation of the “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” comics, one question naturally emerged: How would Salem the Cat factor into all this? The new show — which isn’t a remake of “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” but rather a new entity based on the same Archie Comics character — takes a darker approach than its predecessor, which is to say that the wisecracking feline who featured prominently in Melissa Joan Hart’s sitcom would likely have a different presence here.

That question remains unanswered for now, but at least we know that the new Salem (last name Saberhagen) can walk the black carpet. The black cat did just that at the show’s world premiere, a remarkable feat given how difficult it is to make a cat do anything it doesn’t want to without running away; this may be the surest sign

Eight Geeky Photographers In Movies

The other day, while re-watching the awful, but wildly entertaining The Faculty, I noticed something: geeky characters love photography. Peter Parker is not the only nerdy high schooler who likes to snap, snap, snap. There are loads of other characters, in movies, that are just as geeky and photo-obsessed as him. There are a bunch of movies out there about famous photographers, but the ones on this list aren’t hip like Thomas, a.k.a. David Bailey in Blow Up. They’re straight up outcasts, nerds and geeks who love to take pictures of random things. Here are eight geeky movie characters who

Chilly temperatures, colorful leaves, faux-cobweb Halloween decorations… yep, fall has officially arrived.

Another sign that autumn is in full swing? A robust edition of Quotes of the Week.

This time around, we’ve got a sweet proposal on The Walking Dead, a nod to a classic rom-com on You, Jessica Lange’s memorable return to American Horror Story and a dose of patriotism courtesy of The Good Place‘s Eleanor.

Also featured in this week’s roundup: double doses of The Conners, The Rookie and the fortunately not-cancelled Daredevil.

Eight Memorable Pairs of Twins from Movies

I’ve often wondered what it must be like to have a twin, especially an identical one. You could see how clothes would look on you before trying them on, or what a hairstyle might look like, too. Even better, maybe you’d have some sort of link – either physical or mental – to that twin, as many twins claim to have. Twins appear in movies quite a bit, but every pair is different from other pairs. For the purposes of this article, I’m only using twins that were played by two separate actors, regardless of whether those actors were actually
