‘Stranger Things’ Spinoff Series Is Not About Eleven, Steve or Others: It’s ‘1000 Different’
“Stranger Things 4” has been a pop culture phenomenon for Netflix and ranks as the streamer’s most-watched English-language TV season. The show is easily the streaming giant’s most blockbuster franchise, so it’s hardly shocking to hear it will continue even after the fifth and final season. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer are developing a “Stranger Things” spinoff, but don’t expect a series entirely centered on the likes of Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven or Joe Keery’s Steve.

“It’s not following…I’ve read these rumors that there’s gonna be an Eleven spinoff, that

James Cameron Might ‘Pass the Baton’ to Another Director After ‘Avatar 3’

James Cameron Might ‘Pass the Baton’ to Another Director After ‘Avatar 3’
Although James Cameron has been deeply entrenched in the development of sequels to his 2009 blockbuster “Avatar” for more than a decade, the director has shared that he’s considering leaving the world of Pandora behind for other projects down the line.

The first “Avatar” sequel, subtitled “The Way of Water,” is set to hit theaters on Dec. 16. A third film in the “Avatar” series was shot back-to-back with “The Way of the Water” and is eyeing a release in 2024.

While Cameron certainly has a vision of more “Avatar” stories after those two films, he might not be at the helm for potential subsequent entries. The director told Empire that he’s considering leaving the franchise in another director’s hands after he completes work on the third entry.

“The Avatar films themselves are kind of all-consuming,” Cameron said. “I’ve got some other things I’m developing as well that are exciting.

James Cameron may have created the planet of Pandora, but there’s a chance the filmmaker does not direct all of the Avatar films.

After the franchise’s game-changing first film, Cameron decided to continue the saga with four more stories, the first of which, Avatar: The Way of Water, hits theaters on Dec. 16, 2022. The third installment hasn’t been announced, but it’s slated to be released in December 2024, since it was filmed back-to-back with Avatar 2.

The fourth and fifth movies haven’t gone into production yet, but when they do, Cameron says he might not be at the helm.

“The Avatar films themselves are kind of all-consuming,” Cameron said in an interview with Empire magazine, adding that there are some other projects he’s developing that he’s excited about.

“I think eventually over time – I don’t know if that

Tim Allen finally spoke out last week about debate surrounding his absence from the recent animated film Lightyear, and it turns out that Tom Hanks, his compatriot in the Toy Story movies, has some thoughts on the matter as well.

Hanks, the voice of Buzz Lightyear’s best pal Woody in four previous Pixar films, expressed surprise that Allen, who voiced the Space Ranger action figure, was not asked to be involved as a voice actor in the new prequel. Lightyear, which hit theaters June 17, features Chris Evans voicing the astronaut whose heroic exploits provided the inspiration for the toy.

In the interview with CinemaBlend conducted prior to the release of Hanks’ film Elvis but just now generating media attention, the star was asked whether it would feel strange to compete in theaters opposite a Buzz film. “How about that?” Hanks replied, appearing

New Animation Contract Narrows Gender Pay Gap

New Animation Contract Narrows Gender Pay Gap
Teri Hendrich Cusumano went into contract negotiations with the major studios with the goal of making major gains for animation color designers. Such workers choose the color palette for animated films and TV shows, and traditionally they have tended to be women.

They have also been paid about 300 per week less than the designers who do characters, backgrounds and props. While she emphasized the gender disparity in her presentations to the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers, that argument did not persuade the employers.

“The studios do not want to acknowledge they are engaging in gender discrimination,” she said.

“Some of you probably know this about me, I’m a very stubborn guy, so long story short, I took my f—ing life savings and I bought my special back,” he told his followers.
