  • The Wrap
Titans” is keeping it in the family with its latest addition to its expanded roster for season 2.

The DC Universe series is bringing in Chella Man as Joseph Wilson, better known as the hero Jericho. He’s also the son of the DC Comics villain Deathstroke, another new character joining “Titans” next season. Esai Morales was cast last week as the super assassin, whose real name is Slade Wilson.

Mute after his father failed to rescue him from having his vocal cords severed by assassins, Jericho has the unique ability to possess anyone just by making eye contact. Paramount Reveals Official Title For 'Terminator 6'

Paramount Reveals Official Title For 'Terminator 6'
This summer, Terminator 2: Judgment Day will celebrate its 28th anniversary, but in all the years since its release, the franchise still hasn’t given us another another installment that’s been particularly worth watching. And even though most fans are approaching the next Terminator film with a fair amount of skepticism, the involvement of James Cameron as producer does bode well for it.

Since filming wrapped last November, we haven’t seen any footage from the project and though we have witnessed a little behind-the-scenes content, we’re still pretty in the dark when it comes to what we can expect. One thing we do know now, however, is the official title, as Paramount has revealed that it’ll be called Terminator: Dark Fate. Without having any plot details to dig into and no explanation from the studio, we’re unsure of what the meaning behind the moniker may be,

Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’ Movie Adds Florence Pugh

Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’ Movie Adds Florence Pugh
Black Widow's web may soon be growing.

Sources tell Variety that Florence Pugh is in talks to join Scarlett Johansson’s standalone superhero film.

Pugh has been on the hot list for this second lead role since last fall, but Marvel wanted to open up the field to other actresses at the beginning of the year. After meeting with several candidates, the studio zeroed back in on Pugh after she drew strong reviews for the MGM comedy-drama “Fighting With My Family.”

Cate Shortland is on board to direct, with Jac Schaeffer penning the script. The film has been in development for a while, but picked up momentum last year after Schaeffer’s hire. Kevin Feige is producing the pic.

Marvel had no comment on the news.

It’s unclear whether “Black Widow” will be an origin tale or set after the next “Avengers” movie.

Fans of the character have

Why It’s Rarely Easy to Prove Joke Theft in the Legal World

How far would you go to defend a dirty joke about having sex with a pumpkin?

Comedians Ryan Hoffman and Nick Ruggia spoke with Variety about their claims that recent “Saturday Night Live” segments “Pumpkin Patch” and “Pound Puppy” plagiarized two of their sketches that were uploaded years earlier to the YouTube channel for their comedy troupe Temple Horses.

They consulted a lawyer and sent NBC a letter detailing the similarities in the work but were told that after an internal investigation, no wrongdoing was found. Feeling as though they had little legal recourse, they took to the press.

‘Game of Thrones’ Writers ‘Tried to Keep More of the Time Logic Rather Than Jet Packs’ for Season 8
For all the “Game of Thrones” fans who were up in arms, pointing at maps of Westeros and screaming about how long it would actually take Dany to get from Dragonstone to north of The Wall via dragon during Season 7, we have some good news for you: Season 8 is going to follow a more logical timeline, according to the writers.

Yes, apparently the pacing of the HBO series’ upcoming eighth and final season is more in line with your expectations for inter-kingdom travel and whatnot. However, they still have their reasons for speeding things up a bit last season.

“You obviously don’t want any criticism of any kind,” writer Dave Hill — who penned the upcoming Season 8 premiere, which airs April 14 — told Entertainment Weekly in an interview published Tuesday. “But with all the things we were balancing to set things up for Season 8, sometimes we had to speed things up within episodes.
