The film is already off to a strong start internationally since releasing overseas seven weeks ago and is now looking to keep the momentum domestically. Also going wide this weekend is MGM's Fighting with My Family, after a limited debut last weekend, and Roadside is debuting Run the Race in moderate release. At a reported $129 million, How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World carries the lightest budget

Does ‘The Lego Movie 2’ Have a Post-Credits Scene?
It’s been a long wait for the sequel to 2014’s “The Lego Movie,” with a pair of spinoffs — “The Lego Batman Movie” and “The Lego Ninjago Movie — coming before “The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part.” But it’s finally here and everything is awesome once again.

Given that all of these movies are, to some extent, send-ups of other movie franchises — Batman’s entire thing in these movies is just cracking jokes about his portrayal in other movies — it wouldn’t be amiss to wonder if “The Lego Movie 2” follows in the footsteps of so many franchise pictures by including a scene after the credits to tease a future movie. Or just to make some additional jokes.

35 Landmark Oscar Wins (and Losses) That Could Happen This Year
Once you get past all the confusion, all the snafus, all the complaints, this year’s Academy Awards could end up being an historic ceremony.

Here are 25 of the landmarks that could take place on the stage of the Dolby Theatre on Sunday night.

• If “Black Panther” wins Best Picture, it will be the first film in 86 years to win that award without any nominations for directing, acting or screenwriting. The last film to do it was “Grand Hotel,” which won Best Picture in 1932 but did not have a single other nomination.

• If “Black Panther” wins Best Picture, it will also be the first superhero movie and the first Marvel Studios release to do so.

• It would also be the first Disney film ever to win Best Picture, not counting the four wins that Miramax earned when it was a subsidiary of the studio: “The English Patient,” “Shakespeare in Love,
