‘Veronica Mars’: Enrico Colantoni Set To Return For Revival Limited Series At Hulu
Enrico Colantoni is set to join Kristen Bell in Hulu’s eight-episode Veronica Mars revival. He will reprise his series regular role from the original of Keith Mars, Veronica’s (Bell) father and head of Mars Investigations.

The hourlong limited series, slated to premiere in 2019, hails from Veronica Mars creator Rob Thomas, who will pen the first episode. After Mars Investigations is hired by the parents of one of the victims to find their son’s killer, Veronica (Bell) is drawn into an epic eight-episode mystery that pits the enclave’s wealthy elites, who would rather put an end to the month-long bacchanalia, against a working class that relies on the cash influx that comes with being the West Coast’s answer to Daytona Beach.

Thomas executive produces with Bell, Diane Ruggiero-Wright and Dan Etheridge.

TV Review: Peter Dinklage in HBO’s ‘My Dinner With Hervé’

TV Review: Peter Dinklage in HBO’s ‘My Dinner With Hervé’
Hervé Villechaize, most familiar for his turn on “Fantasy Island” before his premature death, is an unlikely biopic subject. As the assistant Tattoo on the TV drama, Villechaize was treated as if his short stature made him a supernatural freak. His cultural impact has been an accented catchphrase (“De plane!”) and his status as a widely known, and generally patronized, little person. It’s a story that seems too sad, and too sadly marginal, to entice viewers.

My Dinner With Hervé,” HBO’s film about a late-in-life Villechaize, isn’t quite a reclamation project. It doesn’t do enough to center his story,

Hulu Eyes Cheaper Live TV Bundles That Strip Out Entertainment Cable Networks

Hulu wants to cater to a new crowd of pay-tv “cord-shavers” with stripped-down, less-expensive live television bundles that include sports, news and on-demand content — dropping linear entertainment networks to save costs.

Hulu CEO Randy Freer sketched out the concept in an interview with The Information published Tuesday, saying that the skinnier bundles would be designed to appeal to a cohort of price-sensitive users and prove more profitable by cutting out carriage fees for multiple networks. Instead, Hulu subscribers would have access to on-demand programming licensed from cable networks.

But at this point, Hulu doesn’t have any specifics on what

Chris Evans Blasts Piers Morgan for Dad-Shaming ‘Emasculated’ Daniel Craig Over Carrying His Baby

  • The Wrap
How’s this for a crossover: Captain America just defended James Bond.

Piers Morgan took umbrage with Daniel Craig’s parenting skills, tweeting a photo of Craig carrying his daughter, Ella, on his chest in a baby carrier, writing “Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond.” Then Chris Evans, much like the star-spangled hero he’s portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stepped in and defended Craig.

“You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child,” Evans tweeted. “Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.”

Trump Vows to ‘Go After’ ‘Horseface’ Stormy Daniels After Judge Tosses Defamation Suit

President Donald Trump laced into Stormy Daniels in sharply personal terms on Tuesday, calling the porn star “Horseface” and vowed to continue pursuing damages against her after a judge tossed out her defamation suit against him on Monday.

After citing a Fox News headline of the ruling that said that he is “entitled to full legal fees,” the president wrote, “Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas.”

He added, in an apparent allusion to a non-disclosure agreement about her accusation of an extramarital affair, which he has long denied, “She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!” The president also spelled Daniels’ name incorrectly.

It borrows the title of a celebratory song sung around the world on a daily basis, but Kelleigh Bannen’s “Happy Birthday,” as depicted in the Nashville native’s melancholic new video, isn’t aiming to get the party started. Penned by Bannen with Claire Douglas and Dallas Wilson, “Happy Birthday” is a delicate and wistful look at life after love and the times when a phone call has to substitute for more intimate contact. NBC won another Monday primetime pretty easily when things mostly shook out as they should. Much further down the Nielsen sheets, “Arrow” started Season 7 off just fine — for CW’s standards, that is.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. A two-hour “The Voice” at 8 p.m scored a 1.9/8 and 9.8 million viewers. At 10, “Manifest” had a 1.5/6 and 7.5 million viewers.
