‘Grimm’ Spinoff With A Female Lead In Works At NBC
Grimm is eying a comeback. NBC is developing a spinoff from the supernatural series, which bowed out last year after six seasons. Like the original, the offshoot hails from Universal TV and Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner’s studio-based Hazy Mills Prods.

Written by Melissa Glenn (Marvel’s Iron Fist), the untitled spinoff, I hear, will center on a female Grimm. Per NBC, building off the mythology of the original series, the new show will feature returning fan favorites while also introducing new characters, new dangers and epic new mysteries. I hear no actors are currently attached but the idea is for the offshoot to feature some original cast members, regular or recurring.

Glenn executive produces with Hazy Mills’ Hayes and Milliner. Grimm co-creators/showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf will serve as consulting producers.

The original series followed Portland Homicide detective Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli), who discovered he is a Grimm,

‘Kids Are Alright’ Creator, Star Michael Cudlitz on Crazy Storylines: A Hysterectomy, a Microwave and Barbara Eden
The Kids Are Alright” is Tim Doyle’s upcoming sitcom about a family that most definitely is not always alright. The Mary McCormack and Michael Cudlitz-led comedy premieres Tuesday night this week on ABC, after the Roseanne Barr-less “The Conners” makes its own series debut. It centers around a family of eight boys in the ’70s. And, yes, it’s based on Doyle’s own life, which means he’s prepared plenty of crazy storylines about his childhood for Season 1.

“We’ve written like seven or eight stories now and I think I’m pretty pleased with all of them,” Doyle told TheWrap. “There are things you know — there’s sort of a family legend about my mother’s hysterectomy that I think is really interesting (laughs). In a comedy, yeah! We’ve, I think very skillfully, found a way to have a lot of fun with that.

Hear Why Def Leppard Loves Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus’

For many of us, 2018 was the Year of the Leppard. The hard rock band headlined and sold out Madison Square Garden for the first time, got nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and at long last, made their entire catalog available to stream.

Def Leppard marked the occasion at Spotify Studios by recording a cover of one of their live show warmup songs, “Personal Jesus,” by Depeche Mode. It felt like a surprising choice, but the connection between the two disparate Eighties bands is much deeper,

Trump’s Misogyny on Full Display With Stormy Daniels Tweet

Trump celebrated his win Tuesday by calling Daniels “horseface” on Twitter.

Known for lashing out on Twitter with various insults and demeaning nicknames, it’s no surprise that Trump took a jab at Daniels — but the fact that he brought her

Flashback: Willie Nelson Brings Fellow Legends to Tears With ‘Funny How Time Slips Away’
At his show at Forest Hills Stadium this summer, Willie Nelson did something unusual: He played his classic “Funny How Time Slips Away” in full. Regulars of his shows might have noticed that he usually plays a short version of the 1961 song as part of a medley alongside “Night Life” and “Crazy,” but because he was playing a shorter set, he decided to drop some other songs and switch things up. “I like to keep it in [my set] if I can,” he told Rolling Stone afterward.

The performance was reminiscent of

Putting Archie in juvenile detention can’t keep him from playing football — or keep Veronica from cheering him on from the sidelines.

In a new clip released from this week’s episode of “Riverdale,” Veronica and the River Vixens serenade Archie and his fellow inmates in juvie with a performance of “Jailhouse Rock.”

“Who the hell is that?” one of Archie’s new pals says when the Vixens roll up, interrupting a football game that Archie put together to bridge the animosity between the Ghoulies and the Serpents.
