Thomas executive produces with Bell, Diane Ruggiero-Wright and Dan Etheridge.

Chris Evans Blasts Piers Morgan for Dad-Shaming ‘Emasculated’ Daniel Craig Over Carrying His Baby

  • The Wrap
How’s this for a crossover: Captain America just defended James Bond.

Piers Morgan took umbrage with Daniel Craig’s parenting skills, tweeting a photo of Craig carrying his daughter, Ella, on his chest in a baby carrier, writing “Oh 007.. not you as well?!!! #papoose #emasculatedBond.” Then Chris Evans, much like the star-spangled hero he’s portrayed in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, stepped in and defended Craig.

“You really have to be so uncertain of your own masculinity to concern yourself with how another man carries his child,” Evans tweeted. “Any man who wastes time quantifying masculinity is terrified on the inside.”

Trump Vows to ‘Go After’ ‘Horseface’ Stormy Daniels After Judge Tosses Defamation Suit

President Donald Trump laced into Stormy Daniels in sharply personal terms on Tuesday, calling the former porn star “Horseface” and vowing to continue to pursue damages against her after a judge tossed out her defamation suit against him on Monday.

After citing a Fox News headline about a judge’s ruling tossing Daniels’ defamation suit and saying he is “entitled to full legal fees,” the president wrote, “Great, now I can go after Horseface and her 3rd rate lawyer in the Great State of Texas.”

He added, in an apparent allusion to a nondisclosure agreement about her accusation of an extramarital affair (which he has long denied), “She will confirm the letter she signed! She knows nothing about me, a total con!”

See Kelleigh Bannen’s Lamenting ‘Happy Birthday’ Video

It borrows the title of a celebratory song sung around the world on a daily basis, but Kelleigh Bannen’s “Happy Birthday,” as depicted in the Nashville native’s melancholic new video, isn’t aiming to get the party started. Penned by Bannen with Claire Douglas and Dallas Wilson, “Happy Birthday” is a delicate and wistful look at life after love and the times when a phone call has to substitute for more intimate contact. (Think Adele’s “Hello” with a touch of sweet, acoustic twang.)

“Do I get in the bunker or not?” she said.

A representative for the White House did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.8 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 9.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. A two-hour “The Voice” at 8 p.m scored a 1.9/8 and 9.8 million viewers. At 10, “Manifest” had a 1.5/6 and 7.5 million viewers.

Paul Greengrass: Why I Needed to Make ’22 July’
Paul Greengrass was stuck. It was early 2016, and he’d been exploring a possible project about the migration of refugees coming through Lampedusa, the Italian island that had become a landing point for many seeking asylum in Europe — as well as the site of numerous incidents involving sinking boats and mass deaths. (For a good overview of what was happening there, check out the documentary Fire at Sea.) Something, however, did not feel right. “I just had the sense that this was a small part of a bigger picture,” the director says,

Song You Need to Know: Oh Pep!, ‘Your Nail and Your Hammer’

Melbourne’s Oh Pep! make indie-pop with the emphasis on “pop”: Their songs are smooth-running, precision-crafted melodic machines that just happen to be written and performed by two or three people instead of a factory. The couple in their new single “Your Nail and Your Hammer” first meet at a government office while they’re waiting to get their Social Security cards. The flat grey boredom of the setting — like finding love at the Dmv — makes the romantic sparks seem a little brighter. “Bust through the ceiling and I

Hey, hey, hey, hey — we have our first look at “Riverdale”s “The Breakfast Club” tribute episode, which also happens to be the pivotal flashback installment that will show the cast playing their on-screen parents as teens.
