$400 Million in China Alone: Nezha 2’s Box Office Prediction Is Big Enough to Make Disney and Warner Bros Jealous
The direct sequel to the 2019 Chinese animated film, Nezha, is back again with Nezha 2 on 29 January 2025. The release coincided with Chinese New Year this year and it seems the audience couldn’t get enough of it. The film achieved an outstanding $135 million in the first two days.
Now rumors have it that if they keep this up, Nezha 2 will likely amass $400 million in China this weekend. Analysts are also saying it could be the first film to earn and surpass $1 billion in one market, a feat that no other animated film could even dream of.
