I suppose it takes about 9 episodes to truly appreciate how lovely Sunny is as a show and as a homebot. The show is shockingly heartfelt despite the Yakuza angle and the massive mystery that we’re desperate to solve throughout the show. Episode 9 is presented as one of those comedy Japanese game shows. The bizarre episode borders on satire while perfectly balancing out the emotional depth of the show all at once. I think if you had any doubts watching this show, they’re probably gone by now.
