Frozen 2 is on top of the box office for the second weekend in a row. The animated family movie from Disney was able to break the Thanksgiving box office record with $123.7 million domestically. The sequel easily beats the $109.9 million grossed by The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in 2013. If that wasn't enough, it has been predicted that the weekend numbers for Frozen 2 could be even higher once everything is calculated tomorrow morning. In addition to the record, it is also the best Thanksgiving weekend for a Disney project. To date, the sequel has earned $738.5 million globally.

Rian Johnson's Knives Out debuted over the holiday weekend at number two after earning an impressive $41.7 million. The whodunnit is one of the best holiday box office performances in quite some time for a live-action original movie. Ford v Ferrari continues its success in theaters and took the third spot this weekend with $18.9 million.
