Midnighters TV Adaptation in the Works at The CW, Blindspot Creators Attached

Midnighters, the fantasy novel trilogy by Scott Westerfeld, is set to be adapted by The CW as a television drama.

Midnighters appears to be getting its shot at primetime prospects at The CW, with the network now eyeing an adaptation of the Ya sci-fi/fantasy book series by Scott Westerfeld.

The CW is set to develop Midnighters for television, reports Deadline. The would-be series has been placed under the purview of personnel behind NBC thriller series Blindspot, specifically that show’s creator/executive producer, Martin Gero, and his executive producer cohort, Chris Pozzebon, who will pen the pilot script. The project will be produced by Warner Bros. TV along with (the Warner-owned) Alloy Entertainment.
