James Franco’s ‘The Deuce’ Series Finale Draws 412,000 Total Viewers Across All HBO Platforms
The Deuce” came to a pretty quiet close on Monday, when the HBO series starring James Franco and Maggie Gyllenhaal drew 412,000 viewers across all HBO platforms.

The David Simon drama about New York City in 1970s and ’80s — when porn and prostitution were rampant in Manhattan — ran for three seasons on HBO.

An HBO spokeswoman told TheWrap that last night’s series finale reached a season-high in digital viewing.

Franco had a dual role on the series, playing twin brothers Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino.

Gyllenhaal’s work on “The Deuce,” which was co-created by George Pelecanos, earned her a Golden Globe nomination last year.

Not all of the PR for “The Deuce” was positive, however.
