Cristin Milioti to Star in ‘Made for Love’ Adaptation at HBO Max
“USS Callister” alum Cristin Milioti has been tapped to star in HBO Max’s upcoming series “Made for Love,” the company announced Monday.

The 10-episode series, based on the 2017 novel by Alissa Nutting, centers on Hazel Green (Milioti), a woman on the run after 10 years in a suffocating marriage to an “unstable, needy, possibly sociopathic tech billionaire” who discovers that her husband has implanted a monitoring device in her brain, allowing him to track her, watch her and know her thoughts and feelings as she tries to stay alive.

The project is one of two in the works at HBO Max from “Maniac” creator Patrick Somerville and Paramount Television, where Somerville has an overall deal. He is also set to serve as showrunner on an adaptation of the novel “Station Eleven” by Emily St. John Mandel.
