The Flash Revving Up? Warner Bros In Talks With ‘It’ Director Andy Muschietti
Three years ago this month, Warner Bros introduced Dope filmmaker Rick Famuyiwa to Comic-Con fans as the director who would bring the Flash to the big screen in a solo adventure.

Andy Muschietti, the director of New Line Cinema’s horror record-breaker It and its upcoming sequel, is now being eyed to stay at Warner Bros and direct The Flash, the studio’s long-gestating DC superhero pic. We hear that no offers have been made, so this is still early days.

The stand-alone pic stemming from the DC UniverseJustice League of superheroes has had several big directors attached including at some earlier point Phil Lord and Chris Miller, Seth-Grahame-Smith (who wrote the film’s script) and Famuyiwa.

Most recently, Spider-Man: Homecoming scribes John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein were aboard to direct and penned the most recent scripts. They are now off the project, with THR, which first broke the Muschietti story today,
