Richard E. Grant, Sharon Horgan, & Sarah Lancashire Join ‘Everybody’s Talking About Jamie’

Richard E. Grant, Sharon Horgan, and Sarah Lancashire have joined the cast of the big-screen adaptation of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie. The film, which starts shooting at the end of the month, reunites the original creative team behind the stage production: director Jonathan Butterell, writer Tom MacRae, composer Dan Gillespie Sells and choreographer Kate Prince. Filming will begin in Sheffield, England on June 24, an official release says. Max Harwood will stars as the lead in the true to life story.

The film is produced by Mark Herbert and Peter Carlton for Warp Films, and New Regency’s Arnon Milchan. Executive producers are Yariv Milchan and Michael Schaefer for New Regency and Daniel Battsek and Ollie Madden for Film4, who developed the project alongside Warp Films. The film will be released worldwide via 20th Century Fox.
