"Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" Stiffed @ Cannes

Despite the positive critical response at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival competition for director Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood", the Cannes film jury decided not to award Tarantino anything for his latest feature. But Tarantino did manage to win the top prize at the 'Palm Dog Awards', handed out to canine stars and their human directors, for a performance by 'Brandy' a pit bull terrier owned by 'Cliff Booth' (Brad Pitt) in the film:

"I want to dedicate this to my wonderful actress Brandy," said Tarantino, after accepting the award of a red dog collar.

Jury Prize (tie): Les Misérables, Ladj Ly, and Bacurau, Kleber Mendonça Filho, Juliano Dornelles
