Elijah Wood Horror-Comedy ‘Come to Daddy’ Acquired by Saban Films

Saban Films has picked up the U.S. rights to producer Ant Timpson’s directorial debut “Come to Daddy,” starring Elijah Wood, the studio announced on Friday.

The horror-comedy made its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival last month, and in addition to Wood, it stars Stephen McHattie and Martin Donovan.

Come to Daddy” follows a man in his 30s who travels to a remote cabin to reconnect with his estranged father. Toby Harvard penned the script based on an idea from Timpson.
