FX closed its chapter as a 21st Century Fox network on a high note, winning two of the three top program Golden Globe awards, best drama series for The Americans and best limited series/TV movie for The Assassination of Gianni Versace. FX tied Netflix for the most wins tonight, three a piece, as the streamer claimed its first comedy series Globe for Chuck Lorre’s The Kominsky Method. Amazon followed with two.
