Recently I have been going through my old Hong Kong movie catalogue and have re-watched a number of classics and not so classics. With this I decided to recheck one of Jackie Chan’s most popular series of films, The Police Story series, which began back in 1985, with the latest instalment only being a few years ago in 2013. Police Story – 1985 Jackie Chan had previously tried to make it in Hollywood with Battle Creek Brawl (1980), The Cannonball Run (1981) and its sequel Cannonball Run 2 (1984), none of which used him to his best potential.
