Jimmy Kimmel is officially hosting this year’s Emmy Awards.
“I am hosting the #Emmys on Sunday, Sept 18. Until then, have a great summer,” the host of ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tweeted early Monday morning.

Variety exclusively reported last month that Kimmel was in talks with ABC to host the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards.
“I am excited to be hosting the Emmys again,” Kimmel said in a statement on Monday. “I have a feeling I’m going to be great.”
This year’s show will mark Kimmel’s second time as Emmys host following his stint in 2012, when the show last aired on ABC. The telecast rotates each year among the four broadcast network.
