Matt Czuchry will return for Netflix’s “Gilmore Girls” revival series, Variety has confirmed. It has yet to be determined how many episodes out of the four new installments (each 90 minutes in length) Czuchry will participate in, but sources tell Variety that his deal has closed.
Czuchry’s character, Logan Huntzberger, was Rory Gilmore’s (Alexis Bledel) boyfriend in Seasons 5-7 of the hit WB show. He was last seen in the series finale heading to California after Rory turned down his marriage proposal.
The show’s creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, previously told TVLine that they want to include as many of Rory’s former love interests as they can in the revival.
“Our plan is to get as many of [Rory’s] lovely men back as possible,” she said. “We’re still dealing with who’s going to be in it. We definitely want to see them. And we have storylines planned.
