NBC Gives Pilot Orders to Comedies From Amy Poehler, Rashida Jones
Former "Parks and Recreation" stars Amy Poehler and Rashida Jones have received pilot orders from their old network.  NBC has given the go-ahead on the first episode of an untitled single-cam comedy from Poehler and Charlie Grandy ("The Mindy Project," "The Office"), about a reformed party animal who decides to return home and compete with his brother to take over the family business: ruling a kingdom. Formerly titled "Dumb Prince," the series follows Karl, the family black sheep, whose decision to challenge his brother for the throne "throw[s] his highly publicized and dysfunctional family into chaos," according to Variety. Poehler would Ep along with her producing partner Brooke Posch.  Jones is busy with co-penning "Toy Story 4" and starring in "Angie Tribeca," which was renewed for a second season before its series premiere on January 25.
