NBC is sweet on “Sugar,” so much so that the network is turning Maroon 5’s smash hit music video into a weekly TV series, with frontman and Voice coach Adam Levine on board to exec-produce.
NBC placed a pilot order for The Untitled Adam Levine Show, which will spotlight unsuspecting superfans as they receive the biggest surprise of their lives when the stars they love “accidentally” show up at milestone events. It’s unclear if Levine will have an onscreen role in the prospective series.
