The second season of Daredevil on Netflix just got a mighty heft of firepower. News broke not long ago that Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead and Fury) is joining the cast for the second season as The Punisher. The Punisher has had his share of representation in the world of moving pictures. The Dolph, Thomas Jane and Ray Stephenson have all had a go at it. Tom Hardy says he wants to play the character in any upcoming Marvel film. I like this choice of casting because Bernthal bears a striking resemblance to the Frank Castle from the pencil work that John Romita Jr. did in the Punisher War Zone comic book (of which many issues sit somewhere in my parents' house)"Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched...
