A charismatic salesman, Charles’ character of Daniel Logan has a season-long arc for the new season of the Showtime drama — one that will complicate things for Michael Sheen’s William Masters and Lizzy Caplan’s Virginia Johnson as he tries to market his aphrodisiac to the general public.
Charles received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for his role in “The Good Wife,” a drama he departed last year. He also recently appeared in “Bird People,” the Cannes entry that Variety chief film critic Justin Chang named one of his top films of 2014. He’ll soon be seen in Netflix’s “Wet Hot American Summer” series.
