‘Arrested Development': Brian Grazer Says New Episodes in the Works
Is “Arrested Development” coming back for more new episodes? According to exec producer Brian Grazer, yes —and 17, to be exact.

In an interview released Tuesday, Grazer confirmed rumors that the comedy will return.

“I love ‘Arrested Development,’ but it was never a huge thing. But people are loyal to it,” Grazer said on the “B.S. Report” podcast, which was taped last month at SXSW. “We’re going to do another 17 episodes, so stay tuned for ‘Arrested Development.'”

After seven years off the air, “Arrested Development” was revived by Netflix with a 15-episode fourth season in May 2013.

As for Grazer’s on-camera confirmation, Netflix declined to comment on any new episodes.

The series, starring Jason Bateman, originally aired on Fox for three seasons from 2003 to 2006, and was not renewed due to low ratings, despite critical acclaim and a loyal fanbase.
