The Fall creator-writer-director Allan Cubitt told a Netflix TCA panel in January that he was “very confident” there would be a third season of the UK crime drama, pending an official greenlight from the BBC. The light switched on today with BBC Two announcing it has ordered a five-episode Season 3, with stars Gillian Anderson and Fifty Shades Of Grey‘s Jamie Dornan due back as Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson and serial killer Paul Spector.
