Last Friday, July 25th, the organizers of the Salt Lake Comic Con (saltlakecomiccon.com) received a cease and desist order from the San Diego Comic-Con International asserting that Salt Lake Comic Con cannot use the term "Comic Con" for any event, logo, trademark or website and claiming ownership of all variations of the term "Comic Con."
