Fifth Bourne film delayed until 2016
The next edition of the Bourne film franchise has been delayed until 2016.

The fifth instalment of the spy saga was initially due for release on August 14, 2015, but has been pushed back until July 15, 2016.

Fast and Furious filmmaker Justin Lin will direct the movie, which sees Jeremy Renner return to the lead role as Aaron Cross.

Andrew Baldwin recently joined the project as its screenwriter. He previously worked on the Logan's Run remake for Warner Bros, while also writing the upcoming Idris Elba thriller Bastille Day.

The Bourne Legacy grossed $276 million (£163m) worldwide upon release in 2012. Watch the trailer below:
