X2 screenwriters working on X-Men: Apocalypse with Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg

There might still be five months to go before Bryan Singer brings 20th Century Fox's two X-Men timelines to the screen with X-Men: Days of Future Past, but he's wasting little time jumping straight into the story for his next X-Men offering. The filmmaker has taken to Twitter to reveal that he's working with Simon Kinberg (X-Men: The Last Stand, X-Men: First Class) and X2: X-Men United screenwriters Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty on the script for the 2016 sequel X-Men: Apocalypse, which is certainly good news for X-Men fans, seeing as X2 is widely regarded as one of the finest superhero movies ever made...
