He could be full of infinity gems, but Joss Whedon has announced the addition of Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, the brother-sister duo, in Avengers 2. We also know Thanos is the big bad. Whedon seems to hint that he’s so big and powerful that he can’t be defeated in just one movie, but he’s also being cryptic about Thanos even Being the villain, so who knows what to believe.
But who will play the mutant super-powered Maximoff twins? Since they’re likely to be announced shortly, I’ll tackle this pair quickly. Fox and Bryan Singer already cast a Quicksilver of their own for X-men: Days Of Future Past with American Horror Story’s Evan Peters. Now, rumor has it that Kick-ass’ Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in the lead for the role in this franchise. Can I hope to top it? (Spoiler alert: No Maybe)
